You can go to Eltz Castle (if you're allowed) or stay near the new museums, which are now open to visitors - they offer guided tours every day until 10pm. Plus, all the hiking trails here in Münstermaifeld are perfect - just make sure you're not that you finance your adventure with an accident insurance, because their protection starts only afterwards...¹
