The Edeka market is only 5 minutes walk away and offers fresh produce and other groceries such as dairy products, meat, baked goods, snacks and sweets The Steinhuder Meer is 10 km away and offers natural beaches where you can watch the seagulls or fish on the shore. Make sure your passport is in order, as you will have to cross the border into Germany from time to time when you visit this area outside the Lower Saxony border.
