The Black Forest - Highlights
The Black Forest is a low mountain range in the southwest of Baden-Württemberg and Germany's largest contiguous low mountain range. It extends for around 160 kilometers along the Upper Rhine Plain, from which it rises steeply; the highest peak is Feldberg. The region is named after its dense, dark coniferous forests, interspersed with deeply cut valleys, waterfalls and lakes such as Titisee and Schluchsee. For outdoor activities, the Black Forest is an extensive hiking area with long-distance trails and, in the south, also offers easy winter sports.

On the Feldberg
Feldberg is the highest mountain in Germany. It is located in the Black Forest, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It has a long history and many legends that make it an interesting place. Here you can see all kinds of wildlife, including deer, foxes and even bears!
Waterfalls Sankenbach
There are many beautiful sights to see in the Black Forest and one of them is the Sankenbach waterfall. This waterfall has a bridge leading up to it and when you open the dust board at the top, it's like opening a sluice as the water rushes down from above. It's also perfect for kids!
Triberg waterfalls
Triberg Waterfall is the highest in Germany and has been located outside the city for over 150 years. It is one of the most beautiful natural wonders in Europe, where the water plunges 163 meters into the depths. The sound of rushing water will fill your ears while you enjoy this breathtaking sight.
Noblewomen grave waterfalls gorge
Edelfrauengrab waterfall Klamm is one of the most beautiful places in the Black Forest. It's not just about the waterfall, but also about exploring and hiking through this area. You can hike here over steps and footbridges to get up close and personal with nature and see some really cool waterfalls along the way. If you want to learn more, there are panels that tell a story about an eerie noble burial ground nearby.
Schluchsee - east shore
Schluchsee is a beautiful lake in the heart of the Black Forest. It is 7.5 kilometers long and one of the largest lakes in Germany. You can swim here all year round, because the water temperature stays around 12 degrees Celsius even on hot summer days!

Feldberg is the highest point in Baden-Württemberg and one of the most popular destinations in Germany. It is also home to some of the best ski resorts in Europe, making it perfect for winter sports enthusiasts. In summer, visitors can hike on the many hiking and biking trails or fish at Lake Titisee.
