Alpacas are more than just furry animals. They make great camping companions! Spend the night at our campground and spend your morning exploring their habitat with a guided tour at Alpaca Camper, the only alpaca campground in Europe. Our tours give you an exceptional opportunity to befriend these gentle creatures from Peru, as they roam freely outside your tent or RV window for about two hours each day between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. during their grazing season (April 1 to October 31). As if that weren't enough - nearby is Koblenz Lake, home to some of its own unique wildlife, including beavers, otters and waterfowl attracted to this pristine man-made lake created by the damming of the Moselle River¹
