Hello, dear campers. My meadow orchard is located just outside "my" village in the Nördlinger Ries and is surrounded by fields. It's a gentle slope from which you have a clear view almost all around; about 100 meters away as the crow flies is a modern mill from which you also have a clear view of what's going on inside - if at all, because during harvest time the farmers deliver grain until late at night, while some are already back home with their horses after having plowed up fresh ground once again... And right next door (about 30 meters) my favorite little river flows by: The mill canal Eger!¹
