The morning air was crisp and fresh as we followed the path to our favorite spot in the garden. Looking up, I could see my breath in front of me, which would have been a sign that it was time for us to head home, if you didn't want to explore so much more. The trees were bare, but they still captivated us with their majesty, for there is something new about them every day, even if nothing has changed on their surface. We found an old tree house that some other children or adults must have built years ago and climbed in for just a few minutes until we heard voices coming from behind, where someone else was watching their whole life pass by through the branches that they thought belonged to them alone¹
