From the pitch, your gaze sweeps across the Lower Rhine lowlands, with a small forest nearby. In the mornings, deer appear at the edge, a pheasant among them. Cycling and hiking start out flat, and it's just a few pedal strokes to the Netherlands. Xanten and Kleve are not far away. In the evenings: just the forest.1

The oldest city in the Netherlands, just across the border. Old town, market and the Waal riverfront are walkable — the neighbouring country without a long drive.
