Magnificent view of the most beautiful village in the Harz Mountains

Welcome to Stolberg, a small village in the Harz Mountains. Voted one of Germany's most beautiful towns in 2019 by an online travel magazine, this ancient German town is home to many people who are proud to call it their own. The three hundred year old houses have been beautifully preserved over generations and have half-timbering that gives them character - much like you might find in English country villages from centuries ago. Behind my house I have a plot of land of about 2 acres, which has plenty of green space and stunning views of the nature reserves around us, including our ruined castle! There are also fruit trees everywhere, so we can make fresh juice every morning while looking out at everything so beautiful¹
