The private campground in Ellingen near Straßenhaus sits peacefully in the Westerwald, surrounded by meadows and friendly neighbors. You can spend relaxing hours on light gravel and adjoining green space; between May and September, sheep and lambs sometimes graze here. A newly restored playground and walking paths invite families as well. The Drachenfelsplateau and the Drachenfels castle ruins in the Siebengebirge are worthwhile destinations for day trips, and it's 23 kilometers to Koblenz.¹
