Near Struppen, on the grounds of a former hiking hostel below the Rauenstein, the parking area sits at the edge of an old fruit orchard, with forest right behind it. Climbing rocks and trails start within running distance, and hiking paths lead directly from the meadow. The site accommodates buses and small campervans up to six metres long. Nothing larger fits.
