You won't find a more beautiful campsite than Wendland! It's right next to paddocks with beautiful horses trotting around and compost toilets so clean you'd swear they were flush toilets. Plus, there's plenty of water for cold showers if you need them during your stay here in this idyllic land. Tomorrow morning I'm off on my annual trek across Germany - from my home near Hamburg down to Kassel near Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia - I'm excited to see what adventures await me on the way back home :)¹
