When the Mosbach vacation home was a children's holiday home for company employees near Berlin in GDR times from 1974 to 1989, it served many vacationing families. Today, the former youth hostel has been converted into an accommodation facility with rooms for 4 to 8 persons as well as hikers' cabins for a maximum of 12 persons. In addition, within a radius of 10 km from the Wartburg city of Eisenach there are other facilities such as small campsites, where only a tent or mobile homes are allowed if they meet certain requirements¹
