The campsite is located on the shores of Jabelscher See, where the canal branches off to Kölpinsee, right in the middle of the Nossentiner Schwinzer Heide nature reserve. In the morning, mist hangs over the water, and above it an osprey calls out. The campsite rents canoes itself: the tour takes you along the shores of the bison reserve, through narrow canals to the next lakes. Cycling and hiking trails lead off in every direction. It's just a few kilometers to Waren an der Müritz. In the evening: reeds and water.¹
