Nearby is the Kubitzer Bodden with a small island and lush fields bordering the Vorpommern nature reserve - located directly on the federal highway 96, so the journey is easy! Depending on how much pasture we have available at any given time, the horses are fenced in nearby, waiting for their turn behind the fences at night (though if no one has made sure they get out to pasture lately, these animals can roam pretty freely). Also, swans swim by frequently, cranes fly across the sky every few minutes, and geese and ducks glide across open spaces - all indications of this place¹
