Wildlife Hill is a place in the Steigerwald Nature Park, preserved for its natural heritage. It is an abandoned hill with old trees, some of which are over 300 years old! You can explore the surroundings of Ebrach, where you can also find the ruins of a Cistercian monastery from the Middle Ages, which was used by the monks before they had to live inside walls due to the extreme weather conditions in winter when it gets really cold outside - this is how Bamberg (30 km away) was born. Take 40 minutes and then drive to the city, but remember: no matter how fast you drive on country roads or dirt roads towards mountain pastures with sheep, keep your eyes open¹
