A meadow on the hosts' property in Könnern, with a small river on one side and a horse paddock on the other. In the morning you can hear the horses next door. Otherwise very quiet. The site is basic: no electricity, no shower, no toilet — but in the evening you're allowed to have a campfire. The bathing lake and shops are about three kilometers away, with a cycle path running directly past the house. Halle with Burg Giebichenstein and Roter Turm is about 26 kilometers away.¹
